My daily doodles, scribbles, photos, and paper cuttings . . . . ..I play with the glue, but I promise not to eat it.

The ancients lived in harmony with true nature.
Their knowledge is too primal to comprehend.

If forced to describe them?

Careful in their actions like one crossing a winter stream.
Cautious like one fearing danger on all four sides.
Courteous like a guest.
Yielding like ice beginning to melt.
Unspoiled like uncut wood.
Receptive like a mountain gorge.
-
One who can be still through long lasting movement,
Like settling muddy water,
Gradually understand true nature.

The one who embraces this path has no desires,
Being empty she can grow old and be reborn.
